COMMUNITY DAY BY THE TFES GARDEN CLUB INFO:
WHEN: Saturday, April 24 @ 10am-1pm
Please signup below for one of the Volunteer Slots in SignUp Genius. Volunteers will arrive in timed increments (waves), so that we can best be educate volunteers on how to care for the plants.
WHO: TFES Garden Club and Volunteers.
WHAT: The Garden Club is celebrating Earth Day/ Week! We will be planting trees, planting flowers, replacing invasive plants with natives, maintenance to the TFES FOOD GARDEN, and other gardening tasks to grow plants and young minds!
WHAT TO BRING: Your MASK, garden gloves, bottle of water, hand sanitizer, – consider wearing long pants, closed-toe shoes, sunblock, clothes to get dirty, and your smile. (Other things to use for the day: rake, long shovel, long hoe, soil, trellises).
HOW: Please wear masks and practice social distancing. A hold harmless waiver will be required at the time of event.
WEATHER: We won’t let a little Spring Showers spoil the day, but we will reschedule if there are thunderstorms/lighting or torrential downpours. Check your email the morning-of for updates. RAIN DATE: Sunday, April 25 2:00pm-5:00pm.
WHERE: Meet us by the Kindergarten Playground located in front on the Swim Club side of school, (see map). Thomas Fitzwater Elementary School, 30 School Lane, Willow Grove, PA.
Join Us for a unique celebration of Earth, TFES Garden Club and plant trees around the Thomas Fitzwater School.
