Thanks so many of our TFES families for joining us for Garden Club’s Fall Family Day! You know it’s a good day when you get your to do list and more accomplished, while having fun! We were able to finish phase1 of the TFES Front Native Plants Garden and work on wrapping up the food garden for winter!

- We finished Phase 1 of the TFES Front Entrance Native Plant Garden (planting 20 native, shade-loving plants in front of the TFES Front Office), removing weeds, laying cardboard as a weed barrier and then layering on the mulch!
- We the worked in front of the gym, removing a ton of invasives/weeds, then we laid cardboard and mulch.
- In future, we will be monitoring the front office’s plant growth and how the community responds to the project. In hopes of adding more plants in front of the gym and then in front of the cafeteria.
- Under the leadership of Mrs Radine, we were able to woodchip the berry gardens and pollinator gardens located at the TFES Food Garden (on the side of the school with swim club)
- We played some Fellowship games to get to know each other, did some crafts, made holiday cards and harvested all food growing!
