Dig in to TFES Garden Club News – Fall 2024

STUDENT PROGRAM @LUNCH IN FALL2024-SPRING2025

Garden Club Student Program @Lunch is back this Fall! Students K-5th who SIGNUP will meet with students their age, at their designated Lunch/recess time. The Club offers hands-on gardening activities, as an enrichment program for all TFES Students, including the Intermediate Unit. Students signed up for the at lunch program, will only meet once in the fall and three times in the spring. At this time the Garden Club Program is operated 100% by community volunteers and our @Lunch program is facilitated by Parent Leaders (with UD Clearances). www.tfesgardenclub.org/students.

TFES Students Learn @ Lunch – Friday, October 11th for Grades: 1st, 2nd, 3rd

TFES Students Learn @ Lunch – Wednesday, October 23rd for Grades: Kindergarten, 4th, 5th

WANTED: TFES TEACHER AND PARENT-EDUCATOR VOLUNTEER

TFES Garden Club is searching for a teacher to help restart our student program in Fall2023-Spring2024. Unfortunately Mr Springer is booked with other mathletic duties, so we need help to keep us growing! We are searching for parent volunteer/s who is a teacher. Teachers can partner with our committee to create lesson plans and facilitate garden classes @Lunch (only a few times a year according to your availability). PARENTS WANTED

We are searching for community volunteers to be Parent Leaders to help us teach/run the @Lunch Program on select days (see the schedule). We also are looking for committee members to organize impactful projects.
