Summer 2026 Newsletter

TFES Garden Club keeps growing all summer long!  Please read the summer newsletter to see how you can stay connected to the club and gardens throughout the warm crop season! We have opportunities like watering the garden/s, and a committee to help continue the Garden Club programs after Tracy Nyszczot’s retirement. We also highlight the power of native plants, our front gardens projects and photos Salad Party to wrap up the Learn @Lunch Program!

Summer is grow time in the TFES gardens! This is an exciting season, as the plants grow, bloom and produce fruit!  The good news: you can help us this summer, and harvest some foods! SIGNUP to Water the Gardens, where you can choose your day and which garden/s to water (front or food gardens).  Then water any time that day!

Succession Plan / Committee to Continue Garden Club:

Club leader Tracy Nyszczot will be retiring, so please look at the the Garden Club Leadership/ Committee Positions needed so these programs can keep growing at TFES.

As part of our dedication to the school and the ecosystem, we are excited to announce the completion of phase 1 and 2 of the TFES main entrance gardens.  Thanks to our PTO, students, volunteers and donors for their contributions to our Front Gardens Project – Featuring Beneficial Native Plants

Looking Back at Salad Party Pictures

The Club’s Learn @Lunch program is complete for the school year, but please look out for the fall registration.  To finish the school year, the students celebrated the harvest with a Salad Party, a TFES-exclusive annual end-of-school luncheon tradition.
